ICON Studios was in Pacific Northwest last weekend for the 2008 Emerald City Comic Con in the Washington State Trade and Convention Center in downtown Seattle. The M.O.P.S. website was on display and we received a lot of positive feedback which we really appreciate. According to our site statistics, it seems that the word is spreading around. It was our first appearance at a large mainstream convention and the experience was very positive. We actually passed out all of the M.O.P.S. postcards and stickers we brought, and I had to go to the Kinko’s in the convention center to make more.
While at the convention, I also got to attend a panel on web comics given by the guys at Half Pixel. The discussion was very informative and as a result there might be some slight tweaks coming to the M.O.P.S. website in the coming weeks.
